busy?

Are you all watching Twilight?
Okay, let me know how it was.....
well, you'll probably blog about it so,
I'll just tell you about the only Zumba class you can try/take without a membership and still get free babysitting!
It starts at 11pm @ the Hugh Smith Rec. Center
1815 New York Ave. Arl. 76010.
The first class is free, second class is $8 and if you buy a 10 punchcard, you get 11 classes for $4.50.
The class is basically dance and has salsa, reggaeton, tango, bellydancing, brazilian rhythms and all kinds of other fun stuff! This class is a blast, the lady is really nice and fun and she really knows how to show you how to do the moves, ya gotta try it at least once!
Since Thanksgiving is coming, my family is coming into town for the week and so I'm out!

There are only a couple of Free events around the metroplex so here goes:

Monday, Nov. 22nd (tomorrow) Costumed Character Visit; Arlington @ Barnes and Noble in front of the Parks Mall (3881 So. Cooper St.)
Starts at 11am. Take a picture with your favorite costumed character then hear a story and make a craft. Free!

Grapevine; Christmas on Main
Friday the 28th, 3-6pm
Christmas characters will go down Main St. to spread Christmas cheer. Kids can play reindeer games and then enjoy a free horse-drawn carriage ride!

Fort Worth; National Cowgirl Museum is having a Free Family Friday! Because of construction, they are showing at their new location @ 1729 Gendy St. , FW 817-336-4475.

Better late than never!

Sorry, I've been meaning to update!


I want to consistently update for the coming week on Saturday or Sunday night but I'm swamped with stuff to do, So it'll have to be when the time is right....

I am wondering about keeping a family blog and a calendar,

any thoughts?



Okay!
From Oct. 30 to Nov. 20
A-town Central library is doing a 4 week course on how to help your preschool-aged kids learn to read. From 2-5 years old. I talked to the librarian and she was very clear about being able to bring your kids! It sounds like it is more geared towards parents but nonetheless....

It is every thursday morning at 10 am in the kids section.




Levitt Pavillion always has performances on Thursday, Friday-7:30pm

and 2 on Sat. (a kids performance at 5:30) and a Sunday performance.

I want to say that we have been to 4 of these shows and they are all awesome!

The shows always start at 7:30pm and are always free.

On Thursday it will be Canta Rhythm and Brass-Latin fusion mix!

On Halloween, it is Emerald City! Dress up in your costumes and head out for some high-energy fun!


For anyone who doesn't want to trick or treat, much less deal with the candy mania, we will be having a candy-free Halloween party on Friday night. We will be having food and favorite Halloween treats and lots of kids games. Costumes are strongly encouraged! We might head to the Levitt Pavillion that night, so be prepared with warm coverings!

Starting at 6pm and going till 9pm!
